West Ham have begun the race to sign LA Liga duo Hugo Mallo and Alhassane Bangoura from Celta de Vigo and Rayo Vallecano respectively.

Hammers manager Sam Allardyce targets four more signings in order to strengthen his squad for the 2014-15 season.

Spanish right-back Hugo Mallo, 23, has spent his whole career at Celta de Vigo making 139 league appearances and the Hammers are yet to sign a right-back in this transfer window.

After the deal for West Ham to sign Ukrainian winger Yehven Konoplyanka looks to be dead, Alhassane Bangoura has emerged to be the next prospect in the winger position. The 22 year-old Guinean has spent his whole career at Rayo Vallecano and has made 19 appearances for his national side.

The Premier League side have been busy this summer after securing the signings of Mauro Zarate, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Aaron Cresswell and Diego Poyet. Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia is having a medical and looks to be the fifth addition at the club.
