The latest gossip and rumours from the newspapers and online:

Jose Mourinho is considering raiding his old club Chelsea for playmaker WILLIAN once he takes charge of Manchester United, according to the Sun. Willian was one of the rare bright spots in a dismal 2015/16 season for the Blues and Mourinho would be willing to splash out £60million to land the 27-year-old Brazilian.

The Daily Mail is reporting Mourinho is also eyeing up a £54million swoop for Atletico Madrid's versatile midfielder SAUL NIGUEZ as part of his Old Trafford revolution. The 21-year-old Saul burnished his reputation with a fantastic solo goal in the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich and has been included in Spain's Euro 2016 squad.

Niguez's Atletico team-mate ANTOINE GRIEZMANN is on Chelsea's radar after netting 32 goals in all competitions this season, says the Daily Mirror. Chelsea's interest may be further fuelled by the Frenchmen's sports advisor Eric Olhats saying they are "listening to different clubs".

Having wrapped up their first bit of transfer business with the signing of midfielder Granit Xhaka, Arsenal will turn their attention towards strengthening their backline with Napoli defender KALIDOU KOULIBALY topping their wishlist, claims the Daily Telegraph. The 24-year-old Senegal international would be available for around £20million.

The Daily Star says West Ham are considering aborting their pursuit of striker JONATHAN CALLERI , who currently plays for Brazilian side Sao Paulo, as his call-up to Argentina's Olympic squad means he would not be available for the start of next season.
