09:11 AM - Here's a recap of what went on yesterday and late last night:

- Goalkeeper David de Gea's move to Real Madrid dramatically fell through after the necessary paperwork failed to reach the Spanish league before that country's Monday night deadline.

- That left the Spain international facing a return to United, barring attempts by Real to resurrect a deal which would bring Costa Rica's Keylor Navas to Old Trafford as De Gea's replacement.

- United boss Louis van Gaal will also look to wrap up the £36million signing of Monaco striker Anthony Martial without any drama before the English window shuts at 6pm.

- Marcos Rojo and James Wilson could follow Adnan Januzaj, Javier Hernandez and Anders Lindegaard out of the club - but United were by no means the only club planning to make moves.

- Chelsea, having apparently been frustrated in their attempts to sign Everton's England centre-back John Stones, were closing in on a deal for Nantes' Senegal defender Papy Djilobodji.

- Reports have suggested a fee of £2.2million has been agreed, less than 10 per cent of that offered for Stones.

- Barclays Premier League newcomers Bournemouth were also reported to be closing in on a £5million deal for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray. The 31-year-old, who has scored 47 goals in 125 appearances, was expected to undergo a medical on Tuesday.

- Hull striker Nikica Jelavic was understood to be having a medical with West Ham ahead of a potential £3million move that would reunite the Croatian with his former national team boss Slaven Bilic.

- West Ham were also thought to be pursuing another season-long loan deal for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song after a successful spell in 2014-15 and a possible deal for Chelsea's Victor Moses. Tottenham were also linked with winger Moses.

- Some deals were concluded on Monday, with Sunderland signing Italian striker Fabio Borini from Liverpool in a deal that could be worth up to £10million.

- Borini had a successful loan spell at the Stadium of Light in 2013-14. He returned as winger Emanuele Giaccherini joined Bologna on a season-long loan.

- West Brom signed United goalkeeper Lindegaard on a two-year deal and announced the departure of Nigeria striker Brown Ideye. Ideye, signed for a then club record £10million last year, has joined Olympiacos for an undisclosed fee.

- Norwich signed DR Congo striker Dieumerci Mbokani on a season-long loan from Dynamo Kiev with an option to buy.

- Promising Manchester City centre-back Jason Denayer, who impressed on loan at Celtic last season, has temporarily moved out again and will play for Galatasaray this term.

09:03 AM - It's transfer deadline day! Two questions for you; who would you like to see brought in for you team? And are you happy with dealings so far?
