West Brom boss Tony Pulis is expected to speak to chairman Jeremy Peace about a new contract in the summer.
The pair will to hold wide-ranging talks which will include discussions over Pulis' future, Press Association Sport understands.
Pulis will have a year left on his deal at the end of the season and, despite fans' frustration this season over their playing style, has ensured the Baggies have avoided serious relegation danger this term.
Owner Peace and Pulis have a good working relationship and any talks will be transparent with both knowing where they stand.
Former Stoke and Crystal Palace boss Pulis is known to want to make significant changes to the squad after failing to land several targets over the last few transfer windows.
Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon are out of contract in the summer while Saido Berahino is likely to be sold, meaning the Baggies will need to rebuild their forward line.
Pulis has guided the Baggies to 11th in the Barclays Premier League after they reached 40 points with a 0-0 draw at Sunderland on Saturday.
He replaced Alan Irvine in January 2015, signing a two-and-a-half year deal, and has never been relegated from the Premier League since leading Stoke to promotion in 2008.
West Brom go to Manchester City on Saturday 13 points clear of the bottom three with seven games left.
