Stephens remains sidelined

Swindon look set to face Sheffield United without Jack Stephens, who continues to suffer from tonsillitis.

The defender is yet to appear for the Robins since arriving for a second spell at The County Ground and having not trained and lost a lot of weight he will miss out once more against the Blades.

Boss Mark Cooper hinted after the 2-2 draw with Oldham on Tuesday night that he may rotate his squad as the games come thick and fast. The likes of Andy Williams and Jake Reeves will hope to be given the nod from the start.

Swindon have lost just one League One match this season and that came over a month ago against Crawley.

Sheffield United midfielder Stefan Scougall hopes to return to the starting line-up following a knee injury.

The Scotland Under-21 international stepped off the substitutes' bench on Tuesday for the final 13 minutes, during which time the Blades overturned a two-goal deficit to beat Colchester 3-2, and he completed another 45 minutes for the reserves the following night.

But Jose Baxter could be ruled out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury and fellow striker Jamie Murphy remains doubtful after a dead leg kept him out on Tuesday night.

Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce (calf) missed out in midweek and is also doubtful as the Blades bid to extend their unbeaten league run to six matches.
