Coulthirst hat-trick helps Barnet get back to winning ways

Both teams were reduced to 10 men as a Shaquile Coulthirst hat-trick helped Barnet ease past Swindon 4-1 in a fiery encounter at the County Ground.

Rossi Eames' side took the lead in the 10th minute after a defensive mix-up between defender Chris Robertson and Lawrence Vigouroux allowed Coulthirst to round the Swindon keeper and tap the ball into the empty net.

The Bees doubled their lead six minutes later after Oliver Lancashire was adjudged to pull down Ricardo Almeida Santos in the box, and Jamal Campbell-Ryce slotted the penalty into the bottom left corner.

Swindon's Donal McDermott was shown a straight red for a late challenge on full-back David Tutonda just five minutes after the restart, before Coulthirst scored his second with a calm finish in the 65th minute.

The 22-year-old striker completed his hat-trick four minutes later with a superb strike into the top-left corner for his fifth goal of the season.

Luke Norris headed in a consolation goal for Swindon before Andre Blackman was sent off for Barnet 10 minutes from time for violent conduct as the Bees ended their four-match losing run in all competitions.
