Stirling performance earns point

Play-off hopefuls Stirling were twice forced to come from behind to earn a 2-2 draw against Elgin.

Shane Sutherland gave Barry Wilson's side the lead after 13 minutes when he found the top corner following a Paul Harkins corner.

Stirling had the opportunity to equalise when Sean Crighton handled in the box, but Jordan White saw his penalty cannon back off both posts.

But Albion were soon level when White curled the ball into the corner for his 17th goal of the season.

Elgin regained the lead shortly after half-time when striker Craig Gunn scored from close range but Stirling equalised late on through Craig Comrie to set up a frantic finish.

Substitute Daniel Ashe nearly snatched three points for Albion in injury time but his shot flew narrowly wide.
