Steve Hitchen and Rob Mackenzie have joined Derby as directors of recruitment.
Hitchen has already started in his new role after arriving at the iPro Stadium from QPR while Mackenzie will begin work with the Rams later this month following his departure from Tottenham.
Mackenzie has previously worked with Derby boss Nigel Pearson at Leicester and was influential in the Foxes signing current Premier League player of the year Riyad Mahrez.
Hitchen was head of European recruitment at QPR and has also held senior scouting jobs at Tottenham and Liverpool.
Both men will oversee Derby's recruitment, analysis and scouting operations and will report to Pearson and the club's president and chief executive Sam Rush.
