Last-day drama in store for Stenny

Stenhousemuir's Scottish League One fate will be decided on the final day of the season after a 2-2 draw with Brechin.

All the goals came in the opening 20 minutes and a point means Stenny have to win next week and hope Ayr lose to avoid the relegation play-off while City have booked their play-off spot at the other end.

Martin Grehan put the hosts ahead in the second minute when he headed in Paul McManus's cross and the lead was doubled nine minutes later when Anthony Marenghi's free-kick was headed home by Alan Lithgow.

But City got back into it 60 seconds later as Andrew Jackson curled in a sublime shot from the edge of the area.

The comeback was complete in the 20th minute after Alan Trouten coolly slotted home from inside the penalty area.

Both sides had chances to win it but could not make the breakthrough and the hosts had to play the last 13 minutes with 10 men after Grehan picked up two yellow cards in two minutes.
