Bayer Leverkusen's Bosnian defender Emir Spahic was on Wednesday fined 15,000 euros for having shown his middle finger at two opponents during a 1-1 draw with Brunswick at the weekend, the German football federation announced.
The federation, however, opted against a match ban for the 33-year-old over the "flagrantly anti-sporting gesture", which the referee missed at the end of the Bundesliga game.
