Spain is guaranteed a place in the Europa League final after Sevilla and Valencia were drawn against each other in Friday's draw for the semi-finals.

The winner will play Benfica of Portugal or Juventus of Italy, who will dispute the second semi-final.

Valencia, winners of the 2004 UEFA Cup, made a sensational comeback against FC Basel of Switzerland this week to reach the semi-finals.

Paco Acacer hit a hat-trick on Thursday as Valencia beat Basel 5-0 to overcome a three goal deficit from their quarter final first leg.

Sevilla, winners of the UEFA Cup in 2006 and 2007, similarly came back from a 1-0 defeat in Porto to beat the Portuguese side 4-1 on Thursday.

Juventus, UEFA Cup winners a record three times, will take on Portugal's Benfica who have not claimed a European club title since winning the European Cup two years in a row in 1961 and 1962.

The semi-finals will be played on April 24 and May 1.
