Serie A wonderkid target of Chelsea and Liverpool rumours

The young Argentinian more known for the 'Wanda scandal' than for his Serie A footballing, has been quite lucky to receive interest from Premiership sides who are aiming high in the league this season.

Mauro Icardi, 21, has been praised for Sampdoria and Internazionale appearances, where he'd go on being among the best goalscorers in the team. Despite excellent showings on the field, it was his private life that made headlines and of course, enemies - on and off the field.

His ex-Sampdoria teammate, Maxi Lopez, had divorced Argentine model Wanda Nara in December 2013, only so she could get married for Icardi, almost a decade younger, in May this year. I'll leave the comments to you.

Despite betraying many more people than Lopez himself with that decision, Icardi performs better and better at Guiseppe Meazza. The £18m striker scored seven goals in 11 league matches and has reached no.3 on the scorers list, few steps behind Carlos Tevez and Jose Callejon.

Roberto Mancini has, according to Express, ruled out the Argentinian from further Internazionale plans and hopes to sell him in January. The ex-City boss might go for a Premier League striker and negotiate over the possible Icardi-including switch.

Liverpool strikers made almost none of which was required of them by the season start. That got Brendan Rodgers searching for incomers and the Suarez worthy replacement after Balotelli failed to impress at Anfield. Icardi joined Jefferson Farfan, Xherdan Shaqiri and Pierre-Michel Lasogga in newest Liverpool forward gossip.

The press believe £28m is the price Mancini and Inter would be happy to settle on for the 21-year-old. Chelsea would also have some interest from the once internationally capped striker , as they're ready to sell flop Fernando Torres in the near future. Obviously happy with Diego Costa in the starting eleven, Icardi making his way through at Stamford Bridge would be a big 'if'. Drogba or Remy sell would definitely open up the gate one more forward and it's hard to believe that's going to happen at all.

The upcoming transfer window could be the most interesting one ever. What are your predictions?
