Stephen Dawson doubtful for Scunthorpe's play-off second leg against Millwall

Scunthorpe could be without captain Stephen Dawson for the second leg of their all-ticket League One play-off semi-final against Millwall on Sunday.

Manager Graham Alexander oversaw an exceptionally-organised defensive performance in Thursday's goalless first leg at The Den and recognises his team will have to be more positive going forward after the goalless draw.

Skipper Dawson is a doubt after suffering a hand injury - he was replaced by Sam Mantom late on in the first encounter - and faces a fitness test.

Defender Scott Wiseman has missed the last two matches with a knee injury and will also be assessed before the match, while Matt Crooks (knee), Luke Daniels (ribs), Charlie Goode (ankle) and Tom Hopper (shin) will not return again until next season.

Millwall manager Neil Harris is hoping his side can overcome their opponents' impressive home record to progress to the final.

The 39-year-old has already insisted the pressure will be on their hosts at Glanford Park, where this season they have recorded the division's second highest number of home league wins.

Striker Lee Gregory managed to play the whole 90 last time out after he was struck by illness at Bristol Rovers at the end of April and will be looking to add to his 17 goals for the Lions this season.

Millwall centre-back Byron Webster should keep his spot in defence after making a number of crucial interventions to keep scores level on Thursday evening as they look to keep another clean sheet.
