Scott Wiseman to be monitored by Scunthorpe before Coventry match

Scunthorpe are monitoring Scott Wiseman ahead of Sunday's Sky Bet League One home clash with Coventry.

Wiseman is being assessed after he fell heavily during the 2-1 win at Swindon on Saturday before going on to complete the full duration of game.

It also remains to be seen whether fellow defender Jordan Clarke is able to be back involved this weekend. The former Coventry man has been nursing a toe problem.

Matt Crooks, Luke Daniels, Charlie Goode and Tom Hopper will definitely remain sidelined for the Iron, who have secured a play-off spot but could still finish in third, their current position of fourth, or fifth on Sunday.

Coventry could have Ben Stevenson available after he missed last week's 1-0 win over Walsall with concussion.

Boss Mark Robins made six changes against the Saddlers with Ryan Haynes battling an ankle injury and Stuart Beavon out.

Callum Reilly also missed the victory over the Saddlers along with Callum Maycock, although Robins has not revealed their problems.

Coventry have already been relegated from Sky Bet League One and are second bottom of the table.
