Injury concerns for Scunthorpe ahead of Bradford test

Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander has injury concerns as his side look to boost their flagging promotion push with victory over Bradford on Sunday.

The Iron go into the game on a run of just one win from their last 11 games and after leading the table for much of the season they now desperately need the points to secure a play-off place.

On-loan midfielder Matt Crooks is a doubt with a foot injury while Kevin van Veen is almost certainly ruled out again with a hamstring strain.

He joins longer-term injury victims Conor Townsend and Sam Mantom on the sidelines but Alexander is back after completing his one-match touchline ban.

Bradford midfielder Nicky Law will be back in contention following a knee injury, which has kept him out of the last four games.

Law returned to full training this week and will be included in manager Stuart McCall's squad.

McCall has no new injury or suspension worries, but on-loan Newcastle winger Alex Gilliead is still out with a hamstring injury.

Strikers Alex Jones and Billy Clarke, plus defender Stephen Darby are among those pushing for recalls as the Bantams bid to extend their unbeaten league run to eight matches.
