Harry Toffolo joins lengthy Scunthorpe injury list ahead of Bolton test

Harry Toffolo is the latest name to be added to a growing injury list at Scunthorpe ahead of their home clash with second-placed Bolton at Glanford Park.

The on-loan Norwich full-back suffered a thigh strain this week and joins Scott Wiseman, Jordan Clarke, Kevin van Veen (all hamstring) and Sam Mantom (groin) on the sidelines.

Defender Charlie Goode will miss the rest of the season after it was confirmed he suffered knee ligament damage against Bradford.

Goalkeeper Luke Daniels (rib) and forward Tom Hopper (shin) are also long-term absentees.

Gary Madine looks set to miss out for Bolton after the striker suffered a shoulder injury at Southend in midweek.

Madine, who has also been struggling with a thigh strain, was withdrawn at half-time at Roots Hall and replaced by Max Clayton.

Clayton could be handed a first start of the season should targetman Madine fail to recover.

Full-back Andrew Taylor did not travel with the squad to Essex as he works his way back to full fitness following a calf problem. He may yet be in contention at the weekend.
