Evans set to stick

Rotherham boss Steve Evans could name an unchanged side for the first time this season when Nottingham Forest visit.

Evans has made 44 changes to his side in 20 Championship games this term, but after describing the performance in the 0-0 draw at Cardiff as "quite stunning" he looks set to keep the faith.

Former Forest striker Matt Derbyshire will be on the bench after recovering from a knee injury, while Kirk Broadfoot (broken collarbone) remains out.

Lee Frecklington is also fit after a knock kept him out at Cardiff and will hope for a recall as the Millers chase a first win in nine games.

Leading scorer Britt Assombalonga will be back in the Forest squad after the 12-goal striker served a one-match ban during the Reds' 1-1 draw with Charlton last weekend.

Henri Lansbury was forced off at half-time with a back injury against the Addicks but the midfielder has trained this week and he is expected to be fit for the trip to South Yorkshire.

"He was back on the training pitch on Tuesday," said Forest boss Stuart Pearce. "Obviously he's had a stress fracture of the back in the past so that was a bit of concern for him. But the physios have done a sterling job on him and he looked right as rain."

Defender Jack Hobbs (ankle) and midfielder Andy Reid (groin) are both back in light training and it is hoped they will be back in first-team contention around the turn of the year.
