Ross County defender Marcus Fraser wants to put down marker in home games
Ross County defender Marcus Fraser admits home form must improve if they want to stay off the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership.
The Highlanders were lifted out of the relegation zone and up to eighth after a 4-2 away win against St Johnstone last weekend, their first victory in 10 matches.
With the visit of Hamilton on Saturday kicking off a glut of home matches before the winter break, Fraser aims to add to their solitary victory at the Global Energy Stadium this season.
"Five of our next seven games are at home so we need to put a marker down and start picking up points here," he said.
"We will go out there and show the fans we really want it and go for every home game and play for three points.
"We got a win on Saturday but the boys know that is all it is and we are looking to build on that in each game and get more results."
Finding the net has been a cause for concern for Ross County this season with only 14 goals in as many games.
But, after four goals at McDiarmid Park, Fraser hopes they have kicked the problem into touch.
The 22-year-old said: "Everyone has been trying and obviously on Saturday we got four goals which is really positive.
"Now we need to build on that and keep creating chances because we have people who will score goals."
Hamilton midfielder Dougie Imrie has no plans to slow down as he prepares for his 400th professional career appearance.
The former Clyde, Inverness, St Mirren and Morton player will hit the milestone if he is selected on Saturday but he already has his sights set on the 500-mark.
"I'm 33 now, and I feel as fit as I have ever been," he said. "I've never really had a bad injury, I always seem to be really fit which helps as well and hopefully I have the opportunity here to keep playing.
"I keep on the move all the time, and I've started doing a bit of coaching here so that keeps me moving as well."
Imrie, who began his career in the Junior ranks with Lanark United, added: "I was pretty late into the game, I didn't turn professional until I was 22, so to get to 400 games is great.
"Hopefully I have a good few years' left. I still feel fit enough so, you never know, I may get to 500."
Imrie is in his second spell with Hamilton and has made 170 appearances for Accies, which he has credited as being the best years of his career.
"It's always been great here, I've always done really well here for some reason," he said.
"I don't now what it is, maybe because it's close to home for me, but we know what the manager wants here, the system we play, so nothing ever changes.
"Everyone gets on with everyone, there's no big time Charlies, even the young kids coming through are great, so it's like a family club here."
