Robson-Kanu out of Wales squad

Reading winger Hal Robson-Kanu has withdrawn from the Wales squad to play Andorra in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier.

Robson-Kanu has not played since suffering a knee injury in a pre-season friendly in July and is the second withdrawal following West Ham defender James Collins.

T he 25-year-old's uncapped Reading team-mate Jake Taylor takes his place in Chris Coleman's squad for the September 9 tie.

The Football Association of Wales are still waiting to hear whether Andorra's newly-laid 3G artificial surface is suitable to play the match on.

Tests on Thursday showed the ball was rolling too fast on the surface and if Andorra cannot rectify the problem then the game will be moved to another country, with Barcelona in Spain the likely host city.
