Real Madrid want Jose Mourinho back

In an amazing twist of fate, Real Madrid have turned back to the man whom they unceremoniously parted ways with to take over the reigns from Carlo Ancelotti who has apparently fallen out of favour with Madrid’s top officials.

According to Spanish insider Guillem Balague, the Special One apparently still has notable support from some of Real Madrid’s leading men. “ The idea is that Real now look for another coach – that is what normally happens when Real Madrid do not win,” he told Sky Sports.

Jose Mourinho is said to have rejected the opportunity to make things right in Spain even going on to publicly declare his desire to stay at Chelsea “until the club no longer want him.”

Word is that Real have also approached Julen Lopetegui at Porto, Jurgen Klopp and Rafa Benitez pertaining to taking on this poisoned chalice. With the financial pedigree they have, Madrid are sure to lure a worthwhile candidate but Jose seems uninterested for now.
