Ian Holloway could make changes for Sheffield Wednesday clash

QPR boss Ian Holloway could ring the changes against Sheffield Wednesday after criticising his "pathetic" players heavily after the defeat at Bristol City.

The 2-1 loss at Ashton Gate was a fourth on the spin in the Sky Bet Championship, and Jack Robinson could be introduced to the back-line.

The former Liverpool left-back did not feature in Bristol despite recovering from ankle and knee problems to play in the previous game against Brighton - another 2-1 reverse. Beyond Robinson, James Perch represents another defensive option having dropped to the bench against the Robins.

Midfielder Jordan Cousins is out for the remainder of the season with a quad injury, while Kazenga LuaLua is continuing his rehabilitation on an ankle problem suffered in training last month, although the Congolese winger was among the substitutes on Friday.

Match-winning substitutes Fernando Forestieri and Jordan Rhodes will be hoping to play an even bigger part for Sheffield Wednesday.

With his side struggling to break down Cardiff on Friday, Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal brought Rhodes off the bench after 54 minutes and leading scorer Forestieri eight minutes later.

And he was rewarded when Rhodes saw his powerful shot saved by Allan McGregor, only for Forestieri to follow up with a diving header to make a scoring return.

Carvalhal was also pleased by the contribution of his other substitute, Atdhe Nuhiu, giving the Owls boss a welcome selection headache.
