Barton banned for Leeds clash

Joey Barton will again be missing from the QPR side for the visit of Leeds.

The fiery midfielder completes a two-match ban for amassing 10 yellow cards this season.

Striker Andrew Johnson (ankle) is a doubt while Matty Phillips (ankle), Charlie Austin (shoulder), Alejandro Faurlin (cruciate) and Danny Simpson (back) remain sidelined, although the latter could be back in a couple of weeks.

But Niko Kranjcar is fit after a hamstring problem and Ravel Morrison is in line to make his home debut following his recent loan switch from West Ham as Rangers attempt to halt a run of three straight defeats.

Leeds' new signing Connor Wickham is expected to make his debut for the club in the lunch-time kick-off.

The Sunderland striker arrived on loan until the end of the season on Wednesday and could start at Loftus Road as Leeds have drawn blanks in their two previous matches.

Goalkeeper Jack Butland, on loan from Stoke, is expected to resume in goal after making his first appearance in last week's goalless draw at Middlesbrough in place of the injured Paddy Kenny (ankle).

Sam Byram returns to contention following a hamstring injury and Tom Lees is available again after missing out last week due to family reasons as Leeds bid for only their third league win in 12 matches.
