Italian giants Juventus have given United a transfer boost as Director General Giuseppe Marotta has admitted the French international could leave Turin should a huge offer for the player materialise.

22-year-old Pogba signed a long-term five-year contract with Juventus in October of last year after rumours swirled just months earlier, tipping the starlet to move on with a host of clubs ready to take the player on.

That new long-term deal hasn't stopped speculation about the midfielders future though, with Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United all willing to pay big for the highly-rated players services, with £44milion rumoured to be the magic number.

‘Pogba is still master of his own destiny, and if he chooses to leave then it will be hard for the club to keep him,’ Marotta told Corriere della Sera.

‘He’s given no sign that he wants to go away. The problem is when a player is offered a contract that can be two or three times higher than what he’s currently earning. We’re talking about a net €10m salary per season.’
