Eoin Doyle - Chesterfield

Eoin Doyle is back amongst the goals for Chesterfield and two against Barnsley at the weekend made it 16 league goals for the season – 19 in all. Doyle also struck twice in the FA Cup battering of Braintree and the Derbyshire boys are back in business this month after a poor run.

Aaron Wilbraham – Bristol City

The Robins remain top of League One despite two successive league defeats ahead of tonight’s clash at Peterborough, but leading scorer Aaron Wilbraham is confident of beating his season’s best tally of 17 having scored 11 goals in 19 appearances since joining from Palace in the summer.

Andy Williams – Swindon

Andy Williams has been on song (pun intended) as Town keep up the pressure on West Country rivals Bristol City in the race for promotion to the Championship. Williams was on target in the wins against Preston and Peterborough to take his tally for the season to ten.

Richard O’Donnell - Walsall

It is not very often that keepers challenge goal heroes for individual awards, but Walsall’s Richard O’Donnell has certainly earned his corn this month with crucial clean sheets in the league against Peterborough and Fleetwood whose nine-month undefeated home run came to an end against the ever-improving Saddlers.
