Millar misses out for Peterhead
Peterhead's new recruit Mark Millar misses out against Morton due to a knee injury picked up in Tuesday night's Petrofac Training Cup success at Brechin.
The 2-0 win was an expensive one as Ryan McCann also misses out with a calf problem and Jamie Stevenson is doubtful after picking up a knock but Andy Rodgers should return after injury.
Manager Jim McInally said: "This is our first test this season against a full time side and we know that we will have to work really hard to match the advantages being full time brings.
"They are scoring goals but our defence has looked solid recently so we have a chance."
Morton welcome back Jordan Allan from suspension as they look to continue their attacking from that has brought nine goals in two games.
Andrew Barrowman remains out with a hamstring injury and there are doubts over Michael Miller and Joe McKee however Jamie McCluskey is free to play despite his sending off against Berwick Rangers in midweek.
Manager Jim Duffy said: "It is not ideal preparation ahead to have extra time in midweek however we ended up winning 5-2 and Declan McManus is flying after scoring a hat-trick.
"I know Peterhead from my Clyde days and they are a good side but we are improving with every game."
