Brisley blow for Posh

Peterborough defender Shaun Brisley will be suspended for the visit of Carlisle.

The centre-half was dismissed in Good Friday's 1-0 defeat at Bradford for picking up two yellow cards in the space of two first-half minutes and will now miss the next two games.

Midfielder Danny Swanson will not be fit for the clash as he continues to nurse an ankle injury suffered against Coventry last weekend.

Boss Darren Ferguson, whose side are making a meal of securing their play-off place, hopes goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik will be fit after he was absent at Valley Parade due to illness.

Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh may make changes to his starting line-up.

Striker Lee Miller (stomach muscle) and left-back Matty Robson (back) both returned to action from the substitute's bench recently and are hoping for bigger roles as the Cumbrians bid to climb out of the relegation zone.

Courtney Meppen-Walter was replaced by Reece Brown in central defence early in the second half against Walsall on Friday and the latter may get the nod from the start at London Road.

Fellow defender Sean O'Hanlon has been nursing a groin injury of late and remains doubtful ahead of Monday's match.
