Bradford leave it late to snatch point

Romain Vincelot's last-gasp header snatched a point for Bradford in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Oxford.

The Bantams defender struck in the fourth minute of stoppage time with less than 30 seconds to go.

Oxford had trailed at half-time to a fine strike from Omari Patrick. The winger, recalled to the side, curled a shot from 22 yards into the top corner.

That goal came against the run of play after Oxford had dominated, with Rob Hall involved in most of their attacks.

Patrick also shot against the bar from 12 yards in the second half before Oxford drew level through Wes Thomas on 74 minutes, the striker following up to score after keeper Colin Doyle parried Gino Van Kessel's shot.

On 87 minutes, on a break from a Bradford corner, Us midfielder Joe Rothwell broke clear on the left edge of the box and fired a low shot across Doyle and into the far corner.

That looked set to be the winning goal but Vincelot had other ideas.
