Danny Hylton and Callum O'Dowda score for unbeaten Oxford against Yeovil

Danny Hylton and Callum O'Dowda each scored one and made one as Oxford continued their unbeaten start to the League Two season with a comfortable 2-0 win over Yeovil.

The U's have gone five games without defeat this campaign, and stretched their run to 13 league matches without loss since March.

The Glovers, who chalked up their first win last week against Luton, barely threatened.

When United went in front after 14 minutes, it was the first time they had taken the lead in a league game this season, as they have had to keep coming from behind.

Alex MacDonald picked out O'Dowda's run on the right, and from the winger's chipped cross to the back post, Hylton nodded home from seven yards, past a defender on the line.

Yeovil had by then already cleared one off the goalline, centre-half Stephen Arthurworrey coming to their rescue by diverting George Baldock's shot for a corner.

Hylton saw a shot on the turn deflect wide and Kemar Roofe saw one powerful drive well saved by Arthur Krysiak, and a second smash against the crossbar.

Oxford wrapped up the points on 75 minutes when Hylton's surging run and pass was finished off by O'Dowda turning it home from close range.
