No loan move for Grujic

Marko Grujic is staying at Liverpool, according to his agent.

“I am surprised, I don’t know why (Dinamo advisor Zdravko) Mamic is talking about Gruijic coming to Dinamo,” Zoran Stojadinovic told Croatian newspaper, Sportske Novosti.

“He may as well say ‘we want Messi’! It is simply a waste of words." Stojadinovic's statement follows speculation over the last few days of a possible loan move for the 20-year-old Serbian midfielder, who has failed to make an impression on Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp since joining from Red Star Belgrade last year.

“Liverpool do not want to let Marko go anywhere, not even to bigger clubs than Dinamo," added the agent. "I spoke to Liverpool about Grujic’s future this winter and asked them about a potential loan deal, with Betis and Hamburg keen to sign him. “But Liverpool said Jurgen Klopp counts on him. So there is no reason for Marko to join Dinamo.”
