New deal for Lallana?

Adam Lallana is close to agreeing a new four-year contract with Liverpool worth a reported £150k per week, following Philippe Coutinho and Joe Gomez in committing his future to the club.

His current deal runs until 2019 but the new contract will keep him at Anfield until 2021.

Despite a lacklustre start at Anfield under former manager Brendan Rodgers, Lallana has been instrumental in Jurgen Klopp's revitalised Reds, particularly in the first half of this season when the club were looking to be challenging for the Premier League title.

Lallana's creativity is key to Klopp's plans and securing the 28-year-old's services will bolster their title ambitions next season and beyond.
