Mocked French youngster tipped for United move

Louis Van Gaal's setup plot bid for France U21 international and Monaco left-back, Daily Star reports.

The Red Devils continue the search of talented defenders, after signing contracts with Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw who both featured their national team at the Brazil World Cup.

Transfermarkt have classified Shaw as the only complete left-back at the club and Rafael as the only right-back, whilst there are six central defender in the senior team.

The German-based page also posts transfer rumours including all Premiership clubs. Alongside Kurzawa, Benedikt Howedes, Antonio Rudiger and Ricardo Rodriguez are some of the players who are being linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams.

Kurzawa, 22, has been representing Monaco since September 2010 and was mostly brought in from the bench during a four-year period. He was included in France U19, U20 and U21 squads, but still awaits on the first senior call-up.

United are apparently ready to pay £12m in January for Ligue 1 starlet who was followed by Chelsea this summer, as the Londoners have opted for Felipe Luis instead.

The French wonderkid was featuring the final leg of the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification play-offs versus Sweden and after scoring a goal, he started to mock his opponents, hoping that his goal would take them to the final tournament.

Well, he was wrong. France have conceded in the last minute and it backfired for Kurzawa, as all of the Swedish players performed his mocking celebrations afterwards.

Light-headedness was fatal for Kurzawa who must not repeat the same mistake if he will become a part of Manchester United. January is getting closer, rumours increase.
