Jose Mourinho is close to completing his second - although first marquee - signing as Manchester United manager, with a deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan all but complete.

Sky Sports this morning report that a fee of £26.3million has been agreed between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Mkhitaryan, with the Armenian playmaker set to undergo a medical at some point this week.

Despite being heavily linked with his Arsenal, the 27-year-old will link up with Jose Mourinho at United, with his agent Mino Raiola describing the Premier League giants as his clients 'dream move'.

Mkhitaryan joined Dortmund in 2013, moving from Shakhtar Donetsk for around £23million and also captains the Armenia national team. The coveted playmaker was named 15/16 Bundesliga Players' Player of the Season, and recorded impressive statistics with 18 goals and 25 assists across all competitions.
