Wycombe continue unbeaten run at Mansfield with goalless draw

Wycombe avoided defeat at Mansfield for a seventh game in a row as they came away with a 0-0 draw.

It is now over 10 years since the Stags beat the Chairboys at home.

The hosts started well enough and Lee Angol had a fourth-minute header well saved by Scott Brown.

But Wycombe grew in confidence and Conrad Logan saved superbly from Dan Scarr's powerful header from Joe Jacobson's 22nd-minute free-kick.

Three minutes later he twice kept out low Marcus Bean shots and then got in the way of Luke O'Nien as he looked set to net the follow-up from close range.

O'Nien also flicked a header wide on 36 minutes as the visitors ended the half on top but without a goal to show for it.

A scrappy second half saw Craig Mackail-Smith fire over from the right of the box.

The Stags almost snatched it on 82 minutes but Dominic Gape did just enough to stop Paul Anderson turning home Alfie Potter's low ball across the face of goal.
