Manchester United's Predicted XI vs Southampton

08 December 2014 09:51

Four games and four wins, Manchester United is on a dream run. Louis Van Gaal was certainly welcomed in the Premier League with som early shocks but seems as if the boss has digested and adjusted to those shocks well.

The Red devils travel to St. Mary’s for their next encounter. The ‘Dream Run’ term I guess fits more suitable for the team in Red and White stripes. After impressing with their performance in 2013-14 league campaign , Southampton continues to be a threat to any team in the premier league with the quality they possess. But they have this tricky record of not winning any game (this season) from the teams that finished in top six last season. This match is not only important for the rivalry between the two clubs but the dutch managers too.

Van Gaal when asked for his relationship with the fellow dutch manager in the press conference said “ I don't have to describe my relationship with the trainer of the opponent, That’s more private I think. We play against Southampton and we have to speak about Southampton and not the trainer-coach “. The fire still burns bright between the two.

Van Gaal will try not to lose against koeman in any way and try to put his best men on the pitch.

Here’s my prediction of how United can line up against Southampton this Monday evening at St. Mary’s

De Gea ; Antonio Valencia ; Chris Smalling ; Marcos Rojo ; Ashley Young ; Michael Carrick ; Marouane Fellaini ; Ander Herrera ; Wayne Rooney ; Van Persie; Radamel Falcao
