Manchester United are set to renew their interest in Lazio winger Felipe Anderson after missing out on Barcelona forward Pedro, according to ESPN Sources.

Louis Van Gaal is very keen on the 22-year-old and is eager to add his attacking line up after losing Pedro to Chelsea.

The Brazilian currently has a market value of £14 million but could go for more than double that with Lazio reluctant to sell as they hope to build on their impressive form last season which saw them finish third in Serie A and qualify for the Champions League.

Lazio play German out Bayern Leverkusen in midweek but would still be eligible to play for another club in the Champions League if he moves before the 2nd September deadline.

Anderson made 31 appearances for Lazio last, scoring ten goals and getting seven assists.
