United have once again been linked with Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria after the Metro reported the player was close to accepting a £150,000-a-week contract with the Red Devils. The English tabloid have got their info from Spanish outlet Marca who go on to say United have agreed personal terms with the pacey winger. Leaving United and Real Madrid to settle on a transfer fee before anything can be confirmed.

French club Paris Saint Germain are still thought to be interested though, along with Ligue 1 rivals Monaco and two Italian clubs but it's thought that the player would prefer a move to the Premier League.

Former United starlet Paul Pogba has been spotted in London this week, fuelling conspiracy theories that Chelsea would be making a move for the talented Frenchman, not because they wanted the player but because it would make a potential move for Vidal to United virtually impossible. Make of that what you will! Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio quickly debunked the theories though, saying as far as he knew the player was 'on holiday'.

Finishing on a negative note, Di Marzio also claimed that Manchester United had not spoken with Italians Juventus about a move to Old Trafford.
