Swindon bounce back to winning ways with comfortable victory over Luton

Swindon bounced back to winning ways in style with a thumping 3-0 victory at Luton Town in League Two.

Olly Lee went close for the hosts early on, volleying straight at keeper Lawrence Vigouroux, while Swindon's best effort saw Olly Lancashire off target with a header.

Dan Potts should have done better than fire over, before the visitors went ahead after 32 minutes as Scott Cuthbert was sent off for shirt pulling in the area and Luke Norris converted the resulting penalty.

Home keeper Marek Stech then had to repel Chris Hussey's free-kick, while James Dunne pulled his effort well wide.

Hussey made it 2-0 after 51 minutes with a wonderful finish with the outside of his foot after being allowed to stroll into the area.

Swindon had their third after 62 minutes when Norris reached the by-line and his cross saw Paul Mullin take a touch and then hammer beyond Stech.

Luton barely threatened a response, Luke Berry's free-kick easy for Vigouroux before the keeper also comfortably parryied Alan Sheehan's effort.
