Liverpool target Lacazette admits he could leave Lyon before next season

The 23-year-old star has been hailed as the Ligue 1 player of the season with his sensational 27 goals from 33 appearances and looks set to leave Lyon for one of Europe’s top clubs in the summer.

The French footballer has been with Lyon since 2003 when he arrived as a youth and in 2010 he graduated to the senior squad. Lacazette has played for France from U16 to the senior squad where he now has six caps and 1 goal. At Lyon the striker has made 184 appearances and scored 69 goals. 31 of his goals have come in the 2014-15 season from just 38 appearances. Those incredible figures have earned the player honours as well admirers from other clubs eager for a prolific goalscoring talent.

When asked if he would still be at Lyon next season the player offered his suitors hope with the simple answer “I don't know,” and with a price tag of £25million he could have plenty of clubs seek to help him decide with Liverpool understood to be very interested in bringing him to Anfield.

Speculation has been growing regarding his future at Stade de Gerland with L’Equipe speculating that he was seriously thinking of moving on.
