Liverpool loanee seeks for Premiership football

The new Anfield signing, Divock Origi, who has agreed one more season at Lille, hopes to finally move for Liverpool in January.

"I'm here at Lille. It's fine. They are a good club and they have helped me. But it is also frustrating. It is French football," said the 19-year-old who is poised to make way among the last season's runners-up who hold unexpected 11th place on the table.

Brendan Rodgers' strikers still fail to produce, with winger Raheem Sterling holding top of the goalscorers list. The only striker who scored in the league was Sturridge with one goal, whilst Balotelli, Borini and Lambert failed to even do that.

Origi hopes to thrive the pressure and take the best out of Lille adventures for the following Liverpool arrival. The Belgian youngster scored three goals upon returning to France, more than the whole Reds' offense together.

"Although I agreed to stay with Lille until the end of this season, if there was that chance of joining Liverpool sooner, I would take it – I would love to move sooner rather than later."

The forward who made international debut in the World Cup could thus be completing Premier League move in two months. It's up to Rodgers to decide whether or not Origi will join the Reds this winter and therefore, end the £10m move.
