Liverpool are close to completing a deal for Barcelona starlet Adama Traore with the player due in Merseyside to complete a medical before signing for the Reds, according to reports on Monday.
Reports suggest that Liverpool's representatives are in Spain as they look to close a deal for the highly-rated Barca winger, who has been one of their top transfer targets this summer.
And Spanish paper Sport report that Traore is ready to fly to Liverpool to complete a medical ahead of any potential deal.
The move comes as current Barcelona boss Luis Enrique put a halt on Barca B youngsters moving up to the senior squad as a result of their relegation to the third tier of Spanish football. Up to 13 Barca B players now look set to leave the Catalan clubs youth set-up, with Adama Traore looking likely to be one of them.
19-year-old Traore would be the ninth summer signing for the Reds, joining Danny Ings, James Milner, Adam Bogdan, Allan, Joe Gomez, Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke.
