Liverpool are wrong for not giving this talented Moroccan a chance at Anfield

Lack of left wingers didn't stop the Anfield club from loaning out Oussama Assaidi to Stoke for one more season. The unlucky 26-year-old still awaits for his chance although it's been three years since signing the Liverpool contract.

The AZ Alkmaar academy product joined the Reds in August 2012 due to many successfull appearances and outstanding goalscoring skills in Eredivisie. SC Heerenveen were not satisfied to sell the winger after leaving fans ecstatic in most of the games he featured. In a three-year period, Assaidi made the scorers list 20 times, what eventually resulted a Brendan Rodgers bid.

More than one year later, Assaidi was not enjoying at all his Anfield time. With only few league caps for the club in that period, a loan started to look pretty good for both the club and the player who was eager to make an impression.

And so he arrived to Stoke by the start of 2013-14 season. The Britannia became Assaidi's new home, at which he spent nine months before rejoining his primal team. It was a prosperous period as the attacking-minded winger scored four times in 19 matches.

Only three months divided him from returning to Stoke which happened on September 1. He wasn't even benched by Liverpool in the first three Premier League games of the new season. That is why he opted for the Potters one more time.

Wouldn't it be better if he just gets sold? There's no point of keeping him in the club if he's not going to play or be used as a substitute. No world-famous club should buy players without first making some room for them in the squad. So, Rodgers should play him or as might as well find him a new club where he will be appreciated in.
