Liverpool and Man Utd in battle for Forest starlet

Liverpool and Manchester United are in a battle to sign Nottingham Forest striker Ben Brereton, according to the Nottingham Post

The 17-year-old has not yet made a first-team appearance yet, but has scored 15 goals in 20 games for the Under-23's this season.

The club moved quickly to agree a long-term contract at the end of last year but, with Premier League clubs now sending scouts to the games, its only a matter of time before they receive an offer they won't be able to refuse.
