Adam Lallana is about to put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with Liverpool.

According to Sky Sports, 'the deal, understood to be worth around £110,000 per week to the England forward, also contains the option to extend for a fourth year.'

Fans were initially doubtful of the 28-year-old when he was brought in from Southampton by former boss Brendan Rodgers.

But he has thrived under Jurgen Klopp, partiularly this season, making 27 appearances and scoring seven goals.

This news is yet another declaration of faith in the manager by his players, who will be looking to go onto bigger and better things next season, with Champions League on the horizon.
