Real Madrid face neighbours Atletico in the Champions League final on Saturday looking to secure their 11th European crown.

Here, Footbal.co.uk remembers their previous 10 victories.

Real Madrid 4 Stade de Reims 3, 1956

The inaugural European Cup final took place in Paris on June 13. The French side raced into a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes but Real came from behind to win thanks to goals from Alfredo Di Stefano and Marquitos, as well as two from Hector Rial, to herald a period of domination on the continent.

Real saw off Manchester United's Busby Babes in the semi-final and defended their title on home soil. The Italians defended stoically until they were eventually breached by a controversial 69th-minute Di Stefano penalty and Francisco Gento added a second to ensure the trophy stayed in Madrid.

Real Madrid 3 AC Milan 2, 1958

The goals of Di Stefano powered Real to their third successive final and his 10th of the competition cancelled out Juan Alberto Schiaffino's opener for Milan. Ernesto Grillo put the Italians 2-1 up but Rial equalised immediately and in extra-time Gento's strike secured a hat-trick of trophies.

Real faced familiar opposition in Stuttgart and the result was never really in doubt after Enrique Mateos fired them into a first-minute lead. Ferenc Puskas, signed earlier in the season, missed the final through injury but Di Stefano struck early in the second half to wrap up title number four.

Still seen as the greatest final of all time, and one of the greatest matches ever. Puskas made up for the disappointment of 12 months earlier by scoring four goals and Di Stefano chipped in with three in front of over 127,000 people at Hampden Park to make it five European Cups in a row.

Real Madrid 2 Partizan Belgrade 1, 1966

Real secured their sixth title in their eighth final. Partizan took the lead through Velibor Vasovic in the 55th minute but Amancio Amaro quickly equalised and, in the 76th minute, Fernando Serena grabbed the winner to take the trophy back to Madrid. However, it would be a long wait for title number seven.

Real Madrid 1 Juventus 0, 1998

Thirty two years, to be precise. Real finally broke 'the curse' by edging out a Juventus side who had reached their third successive final and included a certain Zinedine Zidane. Predrag Mijatovic grabbed the winning goal in the 66th minute at the Amsterdam Arena to end the drought.

Real Madrid 3 Valencia 0, 2000

Real headed back to Paris looking to bury the ghosts of defeat to Liverpool in the 1981 final. A header from Fernando Morientes and a spectacular Steve McManaman volley put them 2-0 up before Raul sealed the win, and title number eight, with a breakaway third.

Real Madrid 2 Bayer Leverkusen 1, 2002

The defining moment of a stellar club career for Zidane. Raul had put Real ahead only for Lucio to equalise for the German underdogs. But in the 45th minute Roberto Carlos crossed and France superstar Zidane executed a stunning volley into the top corner.

Real Madrid 4 Atletico Madrid 1, 2014

Atletico were hanging onto Diego Godin's first-half header for dear life and were moments from a shock victory when Sergio Ramos equalised in the third minute of stoppage time. Real then steamrollered their neighbours in extra-time with Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo on target.
