Louis van Gaal has been a busy Red Devil whilst on duty for his nation at the World Cup and his antics will certainly be provided hope to a United fanbase starved of success by their incredible standards.

Manchester United have of course been linked with a number of players across the park as the new manager looks to shore up areas of weakness and get back into the Champions League. One player who according to Gazzetta dello Sport via The Mirror has had a bid tabled by United after his exceptional performances at the World Cup is Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian winger has attracted a big-money bid of £32million which suggests he is the type of player that would suit the game Louis van Gaal has in mind for the coming season.

Manchester United will not be the only club interested in the player after he assisted in four and scored one goal out on the wings and it is thought that United are looking for more consistency where players like Ashley Young and Valencia are perceived to have disappointed according to the report. It is understood that Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are all interested with Bayern Munich already having opened a dialogue.

The 26-year-old Colombian joined Fiorentina in 2012 where he has made 68 appearances for the Serie A side and scored 16 goals.
