FC Barcelona , through their official website fcbarcelona.com, have officially announced the roping of Luis Suarez from Liverpool. As reported by fcbarcelona.com “ The Uruguayan will be travelling to Barcelona next week for a medical, to sign his five-year contract and to be officially presented to the media and fans as an FC Barcelona player” .
The 27 year old famous (infamous) Uruguayan , with Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Brazil’s Neymar Jr will be forming an all South American attacking trio for Barcelona.
Suarez ended the season with 31 goals for Liverpool , becoming the BPL top-scorer and in the process helped Liverpool secure a Champions League berth. Prolific as he is, The Uruguayan started his World Cup campaign with a bang, scoring two goals against England, but in the very next match was sent off after biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini and subsequently banned from all soccer activity for four months and nine competitive internationals.
