Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma aka Pedro is reportedly looking for a move away from Camp Nou with several Premier league big boys interested in the international striker come winger’s services.

As well as winning numerous trophies with the Blaugrana Pedro has represented Spain in two World Cups and Euro 2012, with two winners medals as part of the all conquering nation side.

Despite his great technical ability and all round talent, he is currently Barca's fourth-choice forward behind the recognized attacking three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez. Although coach Luis Enrique started Pedro during the recent 4-0 win over Almeria, this was only due to Neymar needing a rest.

According to football journalist Luis Rojo suggests "he will ask for a meeting with his club to tell them that he wants out" when the season concludes and it has been reported that Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool are interested.

We’ve seen big names leave our shores for sunny Spain for mega bucks in recent years, Bale and Ronaldo to name but two. However, recently top players have been leaving La Liga to ply their trade in the EPL. Okay, for a while now we have been taking talent from the Spanish league, with the likes of Torres, Reina, Alonso etc.

But lately great players have left Barca and Real Madrid for a crack at the EPL. Alex Sanchez and Ozil now gracing the emirates with their skills and adding Pedro could make Arsenal true contenders in Europe and the league.

Maybe the EPL is becoming the promised land, La Liga president Javier Tebas said the overpowering financial strength of the English Premier League means it could end up like basketball's NBA -- able to bring in all the best players from every other country and that if some way was not found to deal with the financial advantage given to English teams by their huge broadcasting deal, then clubs from other leagues would no longer be able to compete for players.

Pedro could just be the latest example of the power of the Epl to draw in its stars. Tebas said. "The same people have been in power in football for 30 years, and they just see things in black and white. If we don't make our leagues stronger, we risk the emergence of a European league."
