Omar Bogle injury adds to Wigan's striker crisis ahead of trip to Ipswich

Ipswich are likely to be without Cole Skuse when they host struggling Wigan in the Sky Bet Championship.

The midfielder suffered concussion in the first half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Birmingham and could be replaced by Kevin Bru.

The Tractor Boys, who have drawn seven of their last eight games, could be boosted by the return of Welsh trio Emyr Huws, Jonny Williams and Tom Lawrence.

Midfielders Huws (hamstring) and Williams (shoulder) have returned to training following injuries, while top-scorer Lawrence (groin) is close to a return.

Wigan are short of strikers now Omar Bogle has picked up a problem.

The former Grimsby forward was withdrawn at Newcastle with a thigh injury and he may not play again this term, with Will Grigg (knee) also struggling to return before the campaign concludes.

Ryan Colclough and Gabriel Obertan will be considered as replacements, though neither is a like-for-like alternative to Bogle, and the former has not started a league game all season for Latics having been out on loan with MK Dons.

Andy Kellett (knee) is also missing for a Wigan side still seven points away from safety.
