Ibrahimovic a doubt for PSG opener

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a major doubt for Paris St Germain's opening game of the Ligue 1 season, according to reports in France.

The Sweden striker played the full 90 minutes in Saturday's 2-0 win over Lyon in the Trophee des Champions.

But Le Parisien reported that he suffered a minor injury to the ligaments of his right knee and worked separately from the team on their return to training on Tuesday.

If Ibrahimovic does indeed sit out of Friday's clash at Lille, August 16's home game against newly-promoted Gazelec Ajaccio will mark his first league outing of the new season.

In his absence, Edinson Cavani - a goalscorer against OL in Montreal - and Lucas Moura would feature in coach Laurent Blanc's three-pronged attack.

Fellow South Americans Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi are still seeking match-fitness, while youngster Jean-Kevin Augustin has enjoyed a prolific pre-season.
