Bobby is certainly enjoying his loan spell from troubled Championship club Blackpool as the Shrews bolster their bid to claim an automatic promotion spot in League Two. Five goals in March included deadly doubles against Portsmouth and Accrington.
Matt Tubbs (Portsmouth)
Portsmouth are still some way off the play-off places but they seem to be on the up again, finally, and that has been due in no small part to the contribution of Matt Tubbs whose goals against Cheltenham and Luton took his Pompey tally for the season to 18.
Nasser El Khayati (Burton Albion)
Having spent the early part of his career in Holland and Cyprus, Nasser has made a big impression at Burton since joining in January. The table-topping Brewers, who play Stevenage tonight, have won all four games in March so far – and the Rotterdam-born man has chipped in with two goals.
Paul Hayes (Wycombe)
Experienced campaigner Paul, who had THREE spells with Scunthorpe, has found a new lease of life at Wycombe and is the Chairboys’ leading scorer with 11 goals to date – including two from the spot against Luton and Tranmere during an unbeaten month for the top three club.
